Bellyfit: A cultural mix of dance and fitness moves that bring on the sweat and tone. Bellyfit invited my body to try new dance moves in a safe and supportive environment. I really enjoyed the combination of dance movement with 30mins of strength and flexibility training. "Dancing with Lisa Cassidy is so much fun and always a happy, positive experience. I began dancing with Lisa back in the mid 2000's. My first class being Nia, Lisa was an amazing Nia instructor. I had just endured a serious back injury and Lisa was amazing at helping me to modify the moves for the ability of my body. The next classes I took of Lisa's were Bellyfit and Groove It! Lisa is patient and always smiling, with gentle reminders to position your body how it wants to move. Lisa is very profound at working in the biggest groups to the smallest classes of just a few people. I have had the joy of dancing with Lisa in crowded rooms, huge open auditoriums, and on stage at the bandshell of a park. No matter where Lisa dances it is always a ton of fun. Lisa's jovial attitude, her easy teaching ways, and her continually smiling face make her a one of a kind teacher. If you aren't smiling when you get to class, guaranteed you will be when you leave. "My name is Michelle and I am a fan of Bellyfit!!! It takes dance moves from across the globe and blends them with cardio classes and makes me sweat!!! You start with a dance/cardio workout which then blends into a fusion of yoga and pilates for a good stretch (and a killer ab workout!!). The class is musically motivating and has gotten my body moving from top to bottom...lots of laughter makes this a true "bellyfit" class as you can't help but have fun!!!" ~Michelle S.
