"I can relate to your classes as it falls in line with my own traditional teachings of the four elements of emotional, spiritual, physical and mental. I believe that a person requires all four to be in balance in order to be whole and I find that your classes bring that to my life and assist me with my own personal transformation. I often use the analogy to describe my own stages of life as a butterfly - I frequently cocoon and then evolve and I am able to spread my wings further and farther and become a more beautiful butterfly each time.

"I was out of shape, following no exercise program and apprehensive about injuring myself doing anything too vigorous, as had happened previously. As a result of my stressful job my neck and shoulder muscles were extremely tight causing headaches, etc. I tried Nia with Lisa because the time of her classes fit into my schedule and I was desperate to feel better. I immediately had good results with relaxing of muscles and better sleep. As I kept attending I gained more strength and flexibility, loved the music, the movements and the joyful feeling Lisa conveyed to all her students. "I started taking Nia classes with Lisa a few months ago and I absolutely love it! Nia is my exercise for the week but it is also part of my spiritual practice. I feel balanced and renewed after a Nia class. Nia is fun and I notice during the class that everyone is smiling! It is a laid back friendly atmosphere, I don't like going to the gym, but I love going to Lisa's Nia classes. Another part of Lisa's Nia that I really like is the punch card system. You can go as few or as many times a week as you want, and go on the days that work for you. You just buy a punch card for 4 or 8 classes, and they expire in 6 weeks. (you can also get unlimited passes or do drop in). Their are classes almost every night of the week, and on Saturday mornings. Nia with Lisa is a fun, easy way to start exercising. "My name is Michelle Stephen and I am a fan of Bellyfit!!! It takes dance moves from across the globe and blends them with cardio classes and makes me sweat!!! You start with a dance/cardio workout which then blends into a fusion of yoga and pilates for a good stretch (and a killer ab workout!!).
